Dog Sitting
April 1st, 2006

Over the past week I have been taking care of 3 very sweet dogs, a West Highland Terrier, a Lab Mix, and a Rhodesian Ridgeback. Daniel has been helping me and he has grown quite tolerant of dog hair which was my plan from the very beginning. When we first started dating Daniel was very hesitant to have dogs lick him or jump on him because he might get dirty or hairy well since I’m a dog groomer I have no problem with a stray hair here or there and with being very fond of animals I knew I had to get Daniel over his thought of animals are supposed to be enjoyed outside and not inside the house. Since my dog Lilly is practically an inside dog, and being 70lbs. does not realize she is not technically a lap dog she loves to be on everybody’s lap and lick faces and she gets so excited she can’t sit still for a moment, Daniel has grown to love Lilly as much as Me an my family do. Now on weekends we make special plans to make sure we can take Lilly with us, he even calls Lilly to come over and sit on his lap. It makes me so happy to watch Daniel laugh and enjoy animals as much as I do. So over the past week staying with the 3 dogs when Daniel comes over he has so much fun playing and just sitting with the dogs. We have both just had a great time with the dogs and hanging out laughing at the antics the dogs get themselves into. It’s been nice just Daniel and I, I can’t wait till it’s just us all the time.

More Wedding Planning
March 20th, 2006

On Sunday Daniel, Pam, Ken, and I went to the Bridal Expo at the Orange County Fairgrounds.  Wasn’t really to much there just a lot of d.j.’s, places to have your wedding and florists.  Since we already had all of that covered it wasn’t as informative as I thought it would be.  I did get an idea by looking at the booths the way they were decorated so I guess it wasn’t a total loss.  Oh and there was this really neat booth, the women get your bouquet and they dry them and put them in memory boxes or frame them for you, but they don’t crush them flat they leave them the way they are, it really looks very pretty.  We weren’t there very long so it was a good thing this women had extra free tickets, she just handed them to us when we were standing in line, so that was nice not having to pay!  After we were done we were all a little hungry so we went over to Mimi’s Cafe.  The same one I used to go to with my Grandma.  It was nice being there I kept thinking of all the times I had gone there with her, it just felt nice sitting there.  After that we went back to Michael’s and bought some more decorations for the hall.  They had a great sale going on so we definetly had luck on our side there.  After that we went back to Daniel’s house and ordered our invitations, so those should be coming soon!  Hopefully they will be sent out around early to mid-April.  After all the wedding stuff we could handle for one day Daniel and I watch some t.v. had some dinner and had a good laugh watching “Wedding Crasher’s”.  It was a nice Sunday.

A Weekend With Our Parents!
March 14th, 2006

On Sunday my parents, Daniel’s parents, and Daniel and I got together to go look for dresses for the Mom’s and the three little girls.  We went over  to Westminister Mall and didn’t find much luck.  Although my mom did find a dress to wear to the wedding in the very first store we went into!  Pam on the other hand didn’t find much of anything.  She is the opposite of me, everything is to short for me and everything is to long for her so I kind of know where she is coming from.  As for finding any little girl dresses we were unsuccessful.  None of the stores had any of the Easter/ Spring dresses out yet, and all the ones we did find were PINK!  Oh that darn pink, not all people like pink!  Oh well we still have plenty of time for the dresses.  After not finding much luck in the mall we decided it was time for lunch, after all Tony and Ken were very good about spending and hour or more looking at dresses, altough they did find their way over to the tool department one time, but they were very nice about shopping with a bunch of women, I know how difficult we can be!  So we went over to B.J.’s Pizza and Brewhouse for a couple of pizza’s.  After lunch we headed over to Micheal’s (it’s a arts and crafts store) and looked at silk flowers and things like that.  They do have a wedding section with some really good and neat things.  Pam is just so creative she can see something from nothing, I was glad she was there to show me some really cute ideas.  Well that was our day together, fun and overall a great day!

What a great concert!
February 26th, 2006

I know this site is about the wedding, but I figure I’d tell you a little about the stuff Daniel and I do together.  Well for my 24th birthday Daniel got me tickets to go see Lenny Kravitz and Aerosmith on Friday February 24th.   I have been a HUGE Lenny Kravitz fan for a very long time, well I bet that most women are Lenny Kravitz fans, cause well he has great songs and he is a very good looking man.  I also really like Aerosmith.  The concert was at the Anaheim Pond so it was nice and close to home, didn’t have to fight much traffic to get there.  Lenny Kravitz opened the show.  What a awsome performer he is, he gets so into the music that you can’t help but sing along with him.  Before I knew it an hour and a half passed and he was done.  I recommend everybody to go and catch a show with Lenny Kravitz you will definietly have a great time.  There was a little intermission before Aerosmith came on stage so Daniel and I just sat a people watched, a very good pasttime to do at a concert.  We found some very INTERESTING people to watch a couple aisles infront of us, definetly Aerosmith fans.  Daniel called it a “Hair band convention”.  I do have to say that Aerosmith know how to put on a concert!  Great songs, good performers, and well growing up listening to Aerosmith and actually hearing them live was just so fantastic.  All and all the night ended to soon.  Can’t wait to go and see these two bands perform again one day!
