I just wanted to thank you all for a great Bridal Shower! I was really suprised, it just meant so much to me that you all went to the effort of throwing one for me! Seeing friends and family, sharing great laughs, sweating just a bit…but still having a good time. I hope everyone had a great time, and I can’t wait to see you all in a couple of weeks! Just 19 days to go!!!!!
Pictures! - Thanks to Jenn for taking them.
FYI. We are going to be adding some things to our gift registries the next couple of days. If you have printed out lists just toss them and when you get to the store you will able to print out an updated gift registry. If you have any questions email us at the address to the right or post a comment to this message.
Take Care
So yesterday after work Kelly and I headed over to Whole Foods Market and went grocery shopping. It was the first time going their, but I think we might make it there more often now. I really liked the produce section and they have a wide range of vegetarian foods that both Kelly and I can agree on. For dinner we picked up a can of vegetarian chilli, an ear of yellow corn (I wish we had got more), and green leaf lettuce along with tomatoes to make a salad. The corn was so good, probably the best fresh corn I’ve ever had. We grilled it on the BBQ for 5 minutes on each side after soaking it in water for 20 minutes and it was prefect! It was an overall great meal. After that we just relaxed the rest of the night. Kelly worked on our wedding favors and I helped a bit with that. We are really looking forward to having our couch, it gets delivered today! It will be nice to actually be able to sit and relax in the living room instead of being uncomfortable on the ground. Tonight I have my second to last softball game of the season. We are currently 4-4 and hopefully we can improve on that tonight.
So yesterday we went and bought a couch. We already pretty much knew the one we wanted, we just had to save up a little money to get it. After waking up and Kelly cooking us our own homemade egg mcmuffins we headed to “The Market Place”, which used to be called the “Tustin Market Place”, but I guess they wanted to make it more trendy and take the name of Tustin out of it. We went to Easylife Furniture and bought a new couch. we should be getting it delivered in the next 1-2 weeks! Can’t wait till we actually have something to sit on, besides the ground!
After buying the couch Kelly wanted to check out what they had at Ann Taylor Loft and she ended up getting this really nice brown a tan dress. I would show a picture of it, but they don’t seem to be selling it on their site.Next I was starting to get hungry so we went to Cafe Chin Chin, which was really good. We had never been there before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I ordered the 3 Pan Noodles which was delicious and Kelly got a Veggie bowl, which had great tasting mushrooms that Kelly let me eat, since she doesn’t like them.
Then we headed over to the Bergin’s to go with her parents to the Strawberry Festival, and no matter what anyone says, it’s the only real one. After getting some strawberry shortcake we headed back to the Bergin’s and Tony fired up the BBQ and cooked up some chicken and sausages. After a good dinner we headed back home and relaxed till it was time to go to sleep.
I’m at work right now, but at 3 I’ll head home and will be going over to the Bergin’s again for BBQ and celebrating one of our friends birthdays. Kelly is going to have a pratice session with my friend Jenn on how her makeup will be done for the wedding. So it’s a pretty busy weekend for us, but a nice one as well!
We sent out the invitations today. If you visit take a moment and show us where you are coming from. Also you can send us a comment by clicking on the ‘Comments’ linked under the message. We are looking forward to seeing you all at the wedding.
So everything with the move went smoothly. we had a total of nine people including Kelly and myself. I’d like to thank all those that helped because it was really appreciated. It’s great to have family and friends that are willing to lend a helping hand!
More pictures can be viewed here. We are now working feverishly on getting the apartment set up and presentable for a possible house warming party if anyone is interested.
